Akasa Overseas Inc

Akasa Overseas Inc is based at B- 21 Surya Nagar. It’s a residential-looking area, which makes the office feel a bit more relaxed than if we were in a big commercial tower. We deal with overseas trading, so our schedule is often a bit strange because of the different time zones. You might see the lights on at B- 21 late at night or very early in the morning when we are trying to catch someone on the other side of the world. The office is filled with stacks of shipping documents and samples of things we’re looking to export. It can get a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is, mostly. Surya Nagar is a nice neighborhood, and it’s a bit of a relief to step outside and see some trees after looking at a computer screen for hours. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who handle the logistics and the communication. We spend a lot of time waiting for emails and then rushing to get things ready once a deal goes through. It’s a lot of back and forth, and sometimes things get delayed at the ports, which can be frustrating. But that is just the nature of this kind of business. We just keep at it and try to keep the shipments moving as best as we can. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we have to deal with customs paperwork for hours, but that is part of the job.
