Aggarwal Gift & General Store

We have been running Aggarwal Gift & General Store in Lajpat Nagar for quite some time now. If you know this part of town, you know it is always moving and there is always something going on. Our shop is a bit of a mix, really. We call it a gift and general store because we carry a little bit of everything. One day someone might come in for a nice gift item, and the next person just needs something basic for their house. That is how things are in Lajpat Nagar. We don't have a huge staff or anything fancy like that. It is mostly just us handling everything from unloading boxes to helping people find where the smaller items are hidden. The space is a bit tight sometimes, especially when we get a lot of stock in at once. You kind of have to squeeze through the aisles, but nobody seems to mind much. We have gotten to know a lot of the neighbors over the years, and they just pop in to say hello even if they aren't buying anything. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We try to keep things simple and honest. There isn't any big secret to how we do things; we just show up, open the shop, and see what the day brings. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay helpful to the people around here in this busy market area.
