Aayush Cosmetic & Gift Center

Aayush Cosmetic & Gift Center is over in Sector 6 of Vaishali, at shop number 1. It’s a small place, but I try to pack it with as much as I can. I sell a bit of everything, from lipsticks and creams to small gift sets and birthday presents. The shelves are lined with different brands of cosmetics, and I spend a lot of time rearranging them so they look okay. It’s a bit of a squeeze when I get a new shipment in because there isn't much storage space in the back. Most of the women from the nearby apartments in Vaishali come in to get their daily supplies or to see if I have anything new. I have a large mirror on one wall so people can try things out, but it’s always getting smudged with fingerprints. The lighting in here is a bit bright, which I guess is good for seeing the colors of the makeup. I usually have a helper who comes in during the evenings when it gets more crowded. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars who live in the sector. The sign outside is a bit plain, but people know the shop is here. Sometimes we run out of the popular items and I have to tell people to come back next week. It’s just a neighborhood shop trying to keep up with what everyone wants for their homes.
