A1 Saloon

Our shop is number 39 in the Express Garden Market. We are located in Vaibhav Khand-Indirapuram, which is quite close to Shipra Mall. Being near the mall means there are always people walking past A1 Saloon. Inside, we have a few chairs and the usual equipment for cutting hair. It’s not a very large space, so when we have three or four people waiting, it starts to feel a bit cramped. I try to keep the magazines on the table updated but they usually end up torn or messy after a few days. The market is always loud with people shouting and cars honking, but once you step inside, it’s a bit calmer. We spend most of our time standing on our feet, using the clippers and scissors. There is a small sink in the back that leaks just a tiny bit if you don't turn the handle all the way. We’ve thought about fixing it but haven't gotten around to it yet. People come in from the nearby apartments for a quick haircut before they go to work or out for dinner. We don't do anything too complicated, just the standard stuff that people need. The floor is tiled and I spend a lot of time sweeping up hair. It’s a simple routine and we like the people who come in. We just stay busy and try to keep the mirrors clean enough to see what we are doing.
