A Just Paper

A Just Paper is located at Iii/C-86 in Nehru Nagar. It’s a quiet residential area that turned into a bit of a business hub over time. We started this because we liked working with our hands. The space is filled with stacks of different sheets and rolls. It smells like old paper and ink most of the time. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re basically in the middle of our workspace. There are some chairs for visitors, but they usually end up holding boxes or folders. We spend a lot of time cutting and sorting. It’s tedious but we don't mind it. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute while they are out for a walk. It’s that kind of place. We’ve got a small fan that rattles in the corner during the summer. We try to keep things simple here. No big meetings or complicated systems. We just write down what needs to be done on a notepad and we do it. The sunlight comes in through the side window in the afternoon and hits the stacks. It’s actually quite nice to see. We aren't trying to change the world, we just want to provide what people ask for. It’s a steady pace. Some days are faster than others, depending on the season and the orders. We’ve been in Nehru Nagar long enough to know the rhythm of the street. It’s a good place to be for us.
