Amit Cement House

Amit Cement House is located at House No. 101 in the village of Kashida. We are situated right near the Nyar Rice Mill, which is a big landmark around here. You can usually smell the grain from the mill when the wind blows in our direction. Our shop is part of a regular house, so it has a very local, homey feel to it. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. Instead, we have a sturdy area where we stack the cement bags away from the rain. Village life in Kashida is pretty quiet for the most part, except for the trucks coming to the mill or our place. We spend a lot of our day waiting for deliveries or helping customers load up their carts. There isn't a lot of paperwork or complicated systems here. We just write things down in a notebook and make sure the count is right. Sometimes the post office nearby is slow with the mail, but we don't mind much. We have a few chairs out front where we sit and talk when things are slow. It’s a simple business run by people who live right here in the community. We don't use big words or try to act like we are something we're not. It’s just cement and hard work.
