Umamaheshwari Mill Board

Our mill is located out in Edulabad. If you know the Ghatkesar area, we aren't too far from the main village. It is a quiet spot mostly. We work with board materials here. The yard is usually full of raw stuff waiting to be processed. It gets pretty loud when the mills are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We’ve been at Sy No. 5 for quite some years now. It’s a family-run sort of place. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people just find us by word of mouth. We deal with the R.R. District heat every summer, which makes the work sweatier than usual. The floor is always covered in dust from the boards. We try to keep things organized, but it's a factory, so it’s never perfectly clean. We have a few guys from the village working with us. We all know each other's families. It's a steady life. We make the boards, load the trucks, and start again the next morning. Sometimes the trucks are late, which slows everything down. But that’s just how it goes in this business. We are just a local mill trying to do a decent job every day. The work is heavy and tiring, but we are used to it by now. We just keep the machines going and try to finish the stacks before the sun sets.
