Bakers Corner

Bakers Corner is located right in Annojiguda Village at H. No. 4-1. It is a quiet area most of the time, but the shop stays quite busy. We have been in this spot for a long time now. Most mornings start very early, way before the sun is actually up, because that is when the dough needs to be worked for the day's bread. Ghatkesar Mandal can get pretty dusty with the wind blowing, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass cases and the wooden counter. People from around Ranga Reddy Dist often stop in when they are passing through the village. It isn’t a huge or fancy place, just a simple corner where you can find something to eat. Sometimes the oven acts up or the heat isn't even, but we manage to get things baked anyway. There is always flour on someone's apron or a heavy tray being moved around the kitchen. It is just a regular spot for the locals to grab a snack or some fresh bread for their house. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights outside. The front door squeaks a little when you open it, and the floor has plenty of scuffs from all the feet coming in and out over the years. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter, bagging things up or making sure the shelves aren't completely empty. Life moves along at its own slow pace here. We just focus on getting the daily work finished.
