We run our granite business out of Yamunampet in Ghatkesar, specifically located at Survey No 126. It is a large site because handling granite requires plenty of space for the massive stone blocks and the machinery used to move them. The entire yard is usually covered in a thin layer of stone dust, which is just part of the job when you are cutting rock. You can hear the sounds of the large saws working through the stone throughout the day. It is a tough and often dirty environment, but it is what we have been doing for a long time now. We bring in raw stone and process it into various slabs for different uses. Every piece of granite has its own unique look, and we enjoy seeing the different patterns that emerge after a cut. Our office is just a simple cabin located at the edge of the property where we handle the billing and phone calls. We do not have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our inventory is just stacked up outside where the sun hits it. If a customer wants to see our stock, we just walk through the yard with them and show them the slabs. It is a bit of a drive from the main city of Hyderabad, but the space in Ghatkesar is necessary for our operations. Most of our workers have been with us for years and understand the risks of moving heavy stone. We do not do much advertising at all.
