Manikanta Polymers

Our place, Manikanta Polymers, is situated at P No 237 in B N Reddy Nagar, which is part of the Cherlapally area. If you know Cherlapally, you know it’s full of factories and workshops, so we fit right in with the rest of the block. The building is a basic industrial unit with high ceilings and plenty of room for our equipment. We spend most of our time out on the floor, making sure everything is running the way it should. It’s usually pretty warm in here during the summer months, but we have a few big fans that keep the air moving a little. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating the walls; we just have a few calendars and some safety notices pinned up near the main switchboard. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which is a plus. On rainy days, the sound on the metal roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other talk, but we just keep working anyway. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do our job at P No 237 and go home to our families at the end of the shift. There’s always a bit of plastic smell in the air, but you get used to it after a day or two. It’s just a normal, hardworking spot in B N Reddy Nagar.
