Ashibard Perfumery Works

Ashibard Perfumery Works is based out in the Ghatal area, which is part of the Paschim Midnapur district. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it is where we have always had our roots. The work we do is very traditional, and you can usually tell you are close to our place because of the different scents in the air. It is not a modern, sterile factory. It is more of an old-fashioned workshop where a lot of the work is done by hand. We have a few rooms dedicated to different parts of the process, and it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of work going on. The local people from the village are the ones who make this place run. We don't have any big-city managers or fancy consultants. We just rely on the skills we have picked up over the years. The monsoon season can be a bit of a challenge with the rain hitting the roof, but we just work around it. We aren't trying to be a global brand with a bunch of commercials. We just want to make products that people enjoy using. Our equipment has seen better days, but it is reliable and we know how to fix it when it breaks. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here in Midnapur.
