Our little spot is right at Shastri Chowk in the Beed district. We’re very close to the Bhaji Mandi, so there’s always a lot of people around, especially in the mornings when the market is in full swing. You can smell the fresh vegetables and hear the sellers calling out from our doorstep. It’s a lively atmosphere to work in. We’ve been doing art and sign work here for quite a while. The shop is small and usually has paint or brushes lying around on the counters. We don't have a big team, it's just a local operation where we do things by hand or with the equipment we’ve gathered over the years. The walls have some of our old work on them, mostly just to show what we’ve done in the past. People from around the district know us because we’ve been in this same spot for so long. Shastri Chowk is a landmark on its own, so it’s easy to give directions. We usually have the doors open to let some air in, which means we get a lot of dust from the road, but that’s just life in the market area. We start early and stay until the evening sun goes down. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the orders done and talking to the regulars who stop by to chat. We don't use any fancy systems, just a notebook and some hard work to keep things going.
