Auto Ancillaries

You can find us at No 75, Nageswaran Thirumanjana Street. Auto Ancillaries has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a bit of a tight street, so getting parts delivered can be a bit of a scramble sometimes with the parking and all the people walking by. We deal with all sorts of small auto bits and pieces that people need for their vehicles. The shop is filled with shelves from floor to ceiling, and honestly, only a couple of us know where everything is hidden. It looks like a mess to an outsider, but there’s a system to it that works for us. We don't use fancy computer systems for every single thing; a lot of it is still written down in the big ledger on the desk. People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. It’s that kind of place. We aren't trying to become a giant corporation. We just want to make sure the local mechanics and owners can get what they need without driving across the whole city. The fan in the back makes a weird clicking sound, and the paint is peeling a bit near the door, but it’s home to us. We’ve seen the street change over the years, new shops coming and going, but we stay put. It’s simple work, selling parts and talking shop. We don't offer any magic solutions, just the right bolt or bearing when someone is stuck. We enjoy the routine and the familiar faces.
