We focus entirely on eyes here. Most days are filled with people coming in because their vision is getting blurry or they need new glasses. It is a specialized kind of place, but it still feels like a local clinic. We have been in Englishbazar for a while and the staff mostly live nearby. The statue is a good landmark for people coming from the villages who might not know the street names very well. Inside, we have the testing equipment and the rooms for procedures. It’s not a very fancy setup, just practical and clean. We spend a lot of time talking to older folks about cataracts and things like that. The waiting room is usually full of people chatting while they wait for their turn. It can get a bit loud when it's busy, but it's a friendly kind of noise.
