Sumukha Exports

Sumukha Exports is right in Rampur Village, pretty much directly opposite the police station in the Manpur Block of Gaya District. Being out here in the village is different from the big cities. It’s a bit slower, and we know everyone who passes by. Our building is simple, and we use most of the space for storage and packing. We deal with exports, so there’s always a lot of boxing things up and checking lists. Sometimes the electricity is a bit spotty, so we have to plan our work around that. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even if we are sending things far away. We usually have the doors open so we can see what’s happening in the street. The police officers from across the road sometimes stop by for a chat. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just write down what we have and send it off. The floor is mostly packed earth and stone in some parts, and it stays cool in the summer. We use old fans that rattle a bit, but they do the job. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the trucks come to load up. We take our time to make sure things are packed right so nothing breaks on the long journey. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Rampur community. We aren't big shots.
