Manoj Kumar Keshri is the head of SRAM Buildcon, located right in Dr. Khetan Gali in Gaya. My father, Ram Chandra Prasad Keshri, was well known in the area. We’ve kept the business going in the same neighborhood. Gaya is a busy place, and Dr. Khetan Gali is always crowded. We do mostly local construction and renovation. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning. It’s a working office with blueprints and samples all over the place. We talk to clients face to face. We don't use much technology, just old-fashioned hard work. Sometimes the laborers don't show up on time, or the rain stops everything for a week. That’s just life in Bihar. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We are just builders who know the local streets and how to get things done. We buy our materials from the same shops we’ve used for decades. It’s about being steady. We don't have a mission statement. We just want to finish the project so we can move to the next one. People trust us because they knew my father and they know where we live. We don't go around advertising much. The buildings we’ve done speak for themselves if you walk around Gaya. Dr. Khetan Gali is a narrow place, so getting trucks in and out is always a puzzle. We have to coordinate with the neighbors so we don't block the road for too long. We don't have a fancy website with stock photos. All the pictures we show are from real sites here in Gaya. We don't use those corporate buzzwords. We just talk about bricks, sand, and labor costs. It's a straightforward business. We’ve been here for years, and we plan to stay. We don't need to be the biggest, just the most reliable for the folks nearby.
