Baranwal Trading Corporation

Baranwal Trading Corporation is located right on Ramna Road. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and shoppers. We handle a variety of trading goods, mostly bulk items that we supply to smaller retailers around the city. Our space is more of a warehouse than a shop. We have boxes piled high towards the ceiling, and there’s barely enough room to walk between the rows sometimes. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll usually see one of us sitting at the small desk near the entrance. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters, trying to figure out where our trucks are. Ramna Road is always congested, which makes loading and unloading a real challenge. We have to do most of it very early in the morning before the traffic police start their rounds. It’s a lot of manual labor, carrying sacks and crates back and forth. We don't have a glossy brochure or a mission statement. We just try to get the goods in and get them out to the customers as fast as we can. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, but most days we’re running around trying to keep up with orders. We’ve been here for many years, and the other shopkeepers on the road are like our extended family.
