Rahat Clinic

Our clinic, Rahat Clinic, is located right in Amba Market. It’s a very central spot in Amba, so there is always a lot of movement around us. We have been part of this market for many years now. It’s a loud place with all the sellers shouting and the people haggling over prices, but we’ve grown to like the energy. Our space is quite small, actually it’s just one of the market stalls that we converted. Because of that, there isn't much room for a big waiting area. People often have to wait their turn while standing near the entrance. We see a lot of the local shopkeepers and the people who come in from the villages to shop at Amba Market. We don't use any fancy medical jargon or have expensive machines. We just have the basics for a general checkup. The furniture is a bit mismatched and the lighting is a little dim, but it serves its purpose. We don't spend time on making things look polished or corporate. We just focus on the people who walk through the door with a problem. It’s honest work and we enjoy being in the middle of all the market action. We know most of the other stall owners and we often share a cup of tea during the quieter hours of the afternoon. It’s just a normal part of the market life here.
