Our shop is right near the petrol pump at Chandni Chowk in Ward-02. You can't really miss it if you are looking for help with hydraulics. It is usually quite oily around here because that is just the nature of the work we do. We fix hoses and pumps and all that kind of stuff. Sometimes the floor is a bit slippery, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. Most days it's just a few of us working on whatever comes through the door. People bring in broken parts from their tractors or cranes. We take them apart, see what's wrong, and try to get them back together quickly. It gets noisy with the tools running, and sometimes we have to yell to hear each other over the engines. We have been in this spot for a while now. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It’s a small place but it serves the purpose. We don't have a big waiting room or anything like that. Customers usually just stand around and chat while we look at their gear. It is a bit cramped inside with all the shelves full of seals and fittings. But we know where everything is even if it looks like a mess to someone else. It's just a normal workshop where things get repaired and sent back out to the fields or sites. We keep working until the last job is done for the day.
