Najmul Eye Clinic

The Rafiganj market is always a chaotic place to be, and our eye clinic is right in the thick of it. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the motorbikes outside while you’re getting your eyes checked. Najmul Eye Clinic has been a part of this market for years. We handle a lot of people who work in the fields or in the shops around here. Their eyes get tired from the dust and the sun. We spend most of our time testing vision and helping people pick out frames that they can actually afford. It’s not a big fancy clinic with glass walls. We have some sturdy chairs and our testing equipment. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the market gets busy, but we just wait a minute and keep going. People come in from all over Rafiganj to see us. We’ve seen kids grow up and bring their own children in for glasses. It’s a good feeling when someone puts on a new pair of specs and their face lights up because they can finally see the signs down the street. We don’t do much fancy talk here. We just look at your eyes, tell you what’s happening, and try to fix it. It’s a long day in the market, but we like being here. The tea stall next door usually brings us a cup in the afternoon which helps us stay awake.
