We’ve been here at Plot No-27 in the Ambedkar Market Complex for a while now. Most people know us because we’re up on the first floor right on Dakbangla Road. It gets pretty busy around here during the day with all the traffic outside. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just the sound of the printers going and someone usually drinking tea in the corner. We handle a lot of paper every day. Sometimes the machines act up or the power cuts out, which is just how things go in this part of town. People come in with all sorts of requests, from simple forms to stuff for their businesses. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long out in the heat. The shop isn't fancy or anything, just a few desks and the equipment taking up most of the space. My brother and I usually handle everything ourselves. If you walk up the stairs from the main road, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a bit cramped when three or four customers show up at once, but we manage. There is always ink on someone’s hands. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the work we do every day for the folks around Dakbangla. It’s a living and we’ve gotten used to the noise of the market downstairs. We see the same people every week and that’s just how it goes.
