Mahalakshmi Co

If you walk down River Side Road, you will find Mahalakshmi Co right next to the IDBI Bank. It’s a decent spot because we can see the water, though we are usually too busy to look at it much. The bank is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Our building is a bit older, but it serves its purpose for the kind of work we do every day. We have a lot of stuff coming in and out, so the entrance stays busy. Inside, it's mostly stacks of ledgers and people working at their stations. We don’t really do anything fancy with the interior, it’s just a place to get the business handled. The noise from the road and the bank customers keeps things feeling lively. Sometimes when the weather is nice, we leave the door open to get a breeze from the river. It helps with the midday heat. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now. Most of the locals know where we are. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, just a few of us making sure everything runs like it should. We deal with whatever comes our way. The routine stays pretty much the same from Monday to Saturday. It’s just how we like it, steady and predictable. Sometimes the river gets high, but we just keep working.
