Jamin Kirana Store

Jamin Kirana Store is right in Tarhati Nagar, tucked into the Main Market area. We are very close to Dr. Juber Clinic, so if you see the people waiting there, you’re pretty much at our doorstep. Being in the main market means it is always noisy and there is always someone walking past. We sell all the usual things you’d expect to find in a kirana shop—bags of rice piled up, lentils, spices, and all those little household bits that people realize they’ve run out of at the last minute. The shelves are pretty packed, and sometimes it takes a second to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we usually know where everything is. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you’ll see the same faces behind the counter most days. We don’t have fancy scanners or a big staff. We just use a notebook and our heads to keep track of things. The floor is a bit worn from all the feet coming through, and we sometimes have to shuffle boxes around to make space, but that’s just how a busy market shop works. We like being in this part of town because we know everyone who lives on the surrounding streets. It’s not just about selling things; it’s about being the place where people stop for a chat while they grab their groceries. We have been here for years.
