Jambhala Buildcon is based in the village of Dobhi. Our office is at Budhu Gope’s place, right in the middle of the village. Dobhi is part of the Gaya district, but we are a bit far from the main city. It’s a very local operation, and we mostly work with the people in our own panchayat. We don't have a big corporate office with glass doors. Instead, we have a room with a fan and some plastic chairs where we meet to talk about the work. Being in a village means that everyone knows your business, so we have to be careful to do a good job. We do a lot of small-scale construction, like building shops or small houses for the local families. The work can be slow when the weather is bad or when there is a local festival going on, but that is just part of life here. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks to get clients. Most of our work comes from people just knowing Budhu or seeing the work we did for their neighbor. We take pride in the fact that we are from Dobhi and we are building things that will stay in our community for a long time. It’s not a complicated business, just bricks, mortar, and honest work.
