Maharani Road is always packed with people and rickshaws, so it can be hard to find a place to park if you come to visit. Our office is just a small room where we keep our files and take calls. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map of the local area. Most of our work happens on-site, so the office is often empty during the middle of the day. We do a lot of the basic infrastructure work that people need around Gaya. It isn't glamorous stuff, just pouring concrete and making sure things are level. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but we just use that time to talk and plan the next day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Bihar, we just want to keep working and provide for our families. The dust from the road gets everywhere, even inside the drawers, but that’s just life in a busy town like Gaya. We are just regular people trying to build things right.
