Iocl Panipat

Our office is located in Village Lodipur, right by the Bargaon post office in the Gaya district. It’s a quiet spot compared to the big cities. We are here as Iocl Panipat to handle the local side of things. The building is simple and fits in with the rest of the village. We have a few rooms where we keep our files and equipment. It’s not a fancy setup at all. Most of the time, we’re out in the field or talking to the local workers. Gaya is a place with a lot of history, but our day-to-day is just practical stuff. We use the local post office for all our mail. It’s a short walk from the office door. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break then. We don't have any big signs or marketing stuff around. People know who we are just by word of mouth. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the paperwork. The office floor is usually a bit dusty from the road outside. We have a small table for visitors, but most people just stand and talk. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We aren't in a rush to change things. We just do the job as it comes. Usually, someone is around unless we're all out on a site visit. That’s how we keep things going here.
