Our place, HOTEL DARBAR RESIDENCY PRIVATE LIMITED, is located in Gewal Bigha which is quite close to the Munni Masjid in Gaya. We are right in the Ahmad House building, specifically the part owned by Shaukat Ali. Living and working in the Civil Line area means things are usually busy. We see a lot of people coming through Gaya for various reasons. The hotel is situated in a way that makes it easy to find if you know where the masjid is. We have been here for a bit now, managing the residency. It is a simple setup really. We aren't trying to be one of those huge international chains you see in the movies. It is just a local business run by people who live here. The 823001 pin code is our home base. We spend most of our time making sure the rooms are ready and the guests are okay. Sometimes the streets get crowded, especially during prayer times or festivals, but that is just how Gaya is. We like being part of this neighborhood. It feels real. You won't find any glossy brochures here. We just talk to people and help them get settled. It is a practical business. We keep the doors open and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in from the Civil Line side. It is just about providing a roof and a bed for the night without any complications.
