Gaya Fire

Gaya Fire is out in Village Mocharim, which is part of the Bodhgaya area. We are actually quite close to the Main Temple, so we see a lot of visitors passing through the area all the time. Being in a village like Mocharim is a bit different from being in the middle of a big city. It’s a little slower, though it gets very busy during the festival seasons. Our office is a simple building that fits in with the rest of the neighborhood. We handle fire safety stuff from here. It’s important work, even if we don't make a big fuss about it. The walk from the temple to our place isn't very long. We’ve lived and worked around Bodhgaya for a long time, so we know the local roads and the people pretty well. Sometimes the cows block the road, but that’s just life here. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few local guys who know their way around the equipment. We keep the shop open and ready for whoever needs help. It’s a quiet life for the most part, and we like it that way. We aren't looking to become some giant company. We just want to be a reliable part of the village and the Bodhgaya community. Most days you can find us sitting out front when it gets a bit cooler in the evening. We have been here for years and plan to stay.
