Dr S Samdarshi Hospital Private Limited is located right near the block in Sherghati. It is at Janardan Prasad’s premises. If you know the area around the block office, you probably walked past us a few times already. Sherghati is a small place and everyone pretty much knows where everything is. We have been working here for a while now. The building is simple and we try to keep things organized. It is not always easy with the way the weather gets, but we manage. Being a private limited setup means we have a lot of paperwork to handle besides the actual medical work. Most of the people working here live just a few minutes away. We see a lot of families coming in from the nearby villages. Usually, things are quiet in the afternoons but the mornings are always a rush. We don't spend money on big signs or flyers. People just hear about us from their neighbors. It is a practical kind of place. We have the usual rooms for patients and a small area for waiting. The local shops around us are where we get our tea and snacks during breaks. It feels like a part of the community because it is. We just focus on getting through the daily list of patients and making sure the equipment is working like it should.
