Come Together Foundation

Come Together Foundation is based out of Anil Kumar Singh’s place in Magadh Colony, over in Bodhgaya. It’s a decent area, and being in Bodhgaya means we get people coming through from all over. The office itself is just a part of the house that we’ve dedicated to our work. We don't have any polished marble floors or fancy receptionists. It’s just us sitting around a table with our laptops and a lot of paper. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing outside, and you can hear them while we’re trying to have a meeting. We don't mind it; it’s just part of being in a real neighborhood. We do a lot of our planning right here in Magadh Colony. It’s a simple setup—just some shelves for our files and a few extra chairs for visitors. We don’t use a lot of marketing talk or try to sound bigger than we are. We’re just a small group of people trying to stay organized and get our tasks finished. Bodhgaya is a special place, but our daily routine is pretty ordinary. We deal with the electricity going out, the heat in the summer, and the usual paperwork. It’s just honest, everyday work. We keep things low-key and just focus on what needs to be done each week without making a big production out of it. It’s about being present here and taking care of the small details that matter.
