Ayesha Masjid Foundation

Ayesha Masjid Foundation is located over in Shadipur, in the Gaya town area. We are based at Md Tahir Hussain’s place in Tola Sadipur Panchamraha. Gaya is a busy town, and our little corner in the C.D. Block is no different. It’s a mix of narrow lanes and old houses. No big flashy sign hangs out front. Most people just know where Tahir lives and come by when they have a concern. A lot of time is spent talking to the families in the Mahmoodabad area. There is always a lot going on with the local community, and we try to stay right in the middle of it. Our foundation doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. A few desks and some old files are about all we have. Wasting money on things that don't help people directly is not our way. Sometimes the tea runs out and the meetings go on for too long, but nobody really minds. We are all neighbors here. Seeing the same faces every day at the market and the mosque makes it feel personal. It’s a community effort more than a business. Marketing teams and expansion plans aren't things we think about. Making sure the people in Shadipur and Chakand are doing okay is plenty. It’s just us doing what we can with what we’ve got. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so we know what needs fixing.
