Wuniversal Industries (India)

We’re located at C-43 in Sector-9. If you know Noida, you know Sector-9 is mostly industrial and small workshops. Wuniversal Industries (India) is one of those places. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. It’s a two-story structure where we do most of our manufacturing on the bottom and keep the files and desks upstairs. It’s nothing fancy to look at. The paint is peeling a bit in the corners and the stairs creak when you walk up. We make various industrial parts. It’s the kind of stuff that isn't very exciting but is necessary for other machines to work. We have a crew of about twelve people. Most of us have been working here for years, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs to be done. We start early in the morning to beat the afternoon heat. There’s a lot of metal clanging and the smell of oil in the air. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy logo. We just have our name on a small board by the gate. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for a long time. It’s a steady rhythm of work, day in and day out. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure nothing breaks before it leaves the gate. That is all we really worry about.
