Wildlense Eco Foundation

We are over at 15/59 F in Civil Lines, Kanpur. It is a central enough place, but our office is tucked away and quite modest. Wildlense Eco Foundation is just a group of us who are interested in the outdoors and the environment. Kanpur is a big industrial city, so there is always plenty of work to do when it comes to nature. We do not have any corporate backers or big fancy logos on everything. It is just us and a few computers. We spend a lot of time out in the field and not just sitting behind a desk all day. Sometimes we come back to the office covered in dust, but that is just part of the job. We have been in this building for several years now. It has its quirks, like the windows that stick and the noisy fan, but it feels like home to us. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we cannot do something, we will say so. We are not interested in making grand promises. We just want to do our bit for the local ecology. It can be a struggle to get people to listen sometimes, but we keep at it. Most of our days are spent on small tasks that eventually add up. We are just happy to be doing this work.
