Vahini Social Foundation

Our office is at A-43 in Sector-7, Noida. If you know Gautam Buddha Nagar, you know that Noida can get pretty crowded during the week. We’re in a spot that’s easy enough to find once you get into the sector. Vahini Social Foundation isn't some corporate giant; it is just a local office where we try to get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer. The building itself is pretty standard for this part of UP. We’ve got the usual office sounds like printers going, people talking, and the hum of the AC when it’s 201301 weather outside. We don’t put on airs here. It is just a place of work. We handle various social issues as they come up. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the records, and other days it feels like everyone is calling at once. We like being in Sector-7 because it feels like we’re right in the middle of everything. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick bite during lunch, which is nice. We’ve been here for a bit now and the local shopkeepers know our names. It's a decent community to be part of. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall; we just know what we have to do and we do it every day. It is about being consistent and helping where we can without making it complicated or fancy for anyone.
