Uvdivine Textile Private Limited

Uvdivine Textile is another one of the businesses you’ll find in the Udyog Kendra Extn-1 area of Greater Noida. We are over at Plot No. 221. It’s a big concrete building that doesn't look like much, but there’s a lot happening inside. We work with textiles, which is a bit different from the heavy engineering shops that are next door to us. Our space is filled with rolls of cloth and the sound of cutting machines. It’s not a glamorous job at all. You spend a lot of time on your feet, moving heavy materials around. We try to keep the place organized, but when a big shipment comes in, things get chaotic for a few days. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. It’s just us and a few workers making sure the quality of the fabric is what it should be. The lighting isn't always perfect and the tea we drink is usually lukewarm, but the work gets done. We’ve been here for a bit now and we’ve seen the industrial area grow quite a bit. It’s a tough business because there’s a lot of competition, but we just focus on our own machines and our own orders. We aren't trying to change the world. We’re just trying to run a solid textile business and pay the bills. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but there’s a certain satisfaction when you see the finished product ready for the truck.
