Uttar Pradesh Corrugated Box Manufacturers, Association

This place is the office for the Uttar Pradesh Corrugated Box Manufacturers Association. We are located at D-389 in Sector 10. It’s more of a place for people in the trade to come and talk rather than a factory where things are actually built. Being in Sector 10, it’s a bit easier for folks to find us. We have meetings here sometimes to talk about paper prices or new rules that affect the box business. It’s not a very big office. There are a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. Most of the day it’s just one or two of us handling the paperwork and answering questions from members. People stop by to pay their dues or just to see what’s going on in the industry. It’s a good way to keep in touch with what other manufacturers are doing. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We aren't trying to sell anything to the public here. It’s just about supporting the people who make the boxes that everyone uses. If you’re looking for a specific manufacturer, we probably have their name in one of our ledgers. It feels like a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us and the people in Sector 10. We just try to be helpful when someone calls with a question about corrugated packaging or local regulations.
