The Inks India

Out here in Sector-59 at B-46, we keep things pretty simple at The Inks India. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always something going on nearby. We deal with ink, obviously, and everything that goes into making it right for different uses. The smell of the mixtures is something you just get used to after a couple of days. We don't have a big reception area or shiny signs. Most of our space is taken up by drums and mixing vats. It’s a practical environment. We spend most of our time checking colors and making sure the consistency is where it needs to be for the clients. Sometimes the weather affects how things dry or mix, so we have to adjust on the fly. It’s not a perfect science every single minute, but we’ve got the hang of it over the years. People around the sector know us as the place that just stays busy. We don't spend money on fancy brochures because our work speaks for itself when the printing is done. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually stained by the end of the shift. That’s just part of the deal. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is on the news. It’s a small team, and we like it that way. We just want to make sure the ink is good and the delivery is on time. There is no corporate ladder here, just people doing a job.
