Swabham Textile is located in Noida, specifically in Sector-41 at house number H-52. If you know this part of Gautam Buddha Nagar, you know it is mostly houses and some small businesses tucked away in the lanes. Our place isn't very big, but we make it work for what we do with textiles. There is always a lot of fabric lying around on the tables. We spend most of our mornings sorting through different types of cloth and checking what came in the day before. The office has that typical smell of new fabric and old paper. It’s pretty quiet inside compared to the main roads of Noida. Our staff is just a small group of people who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. Mostly, you'll see someone sitting at a desk covered in samples or someone else packing a box in the corner. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around just to make room for a new shipment. It’s practical work. We handle the paperwork and the textile stuff without much fuss. The Uttar Pradesh weather affects our routine, especially when it rains and we have to make sure nothing gets damp. We just keep at it every day, making sure the textiles are sorted and the addresses are right on the packages. It is a basic setup but it works for us and the people we deal with on a daily basis.
