Out here in Village Chanpur, things move a bit slower than in the city. Our office for Sushan Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited is at 587, right near the Post Ag. School. It’s a farming area mostly, so our hours often depend on what’s happening in the fields. If it’s harvest time, we might not see many people until late in the day. We are a small group of people running this place. We don't have a big corporate office or a lot of technology. Most of our work is done on old desks with a lot of pens and paper around. We know most of the families who come to us. We’ve known them for years, so there’s a lot of trust involved. We aren't here to make a quick buck or sell things people don't need. We just provide a place for the village folks to keep their money safe. The school nearby is a good landmark, and you can usually hear the kids playing during recess. It’s a nice sound to work to. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or the mud during the monsoon, but that’s just part of living in Chanpur. We don't have a website or any fancy ads. People just know we’re at house 587. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We just keep our heads down and do the work for the community because it is what we know.
