Steam Olympiad Foundation

Our office is located at A 175 in Sector-20, over in Noida. It’s a pretty standard spot in Gautam Buddha Nagar. We spend most of our time working on competition stuff for kids, specifically around things like science and math. It’s not always glamorous. Most of the day is just spent at desks, looking at schedules or fixing website glitches. We’ve been in Uttar Pradesh for a bit now and the heat in the summer is something else. We try to keep things simple here. People often call asking about dates and rules, so there is always someone on the phone. It’s a busy place but we manage. We aren’t some huge corporation with glass walls and suits. We’re just a group of people who think these types of competitions are useful for students. We make mistakes sometimes, like forgetting to order more coffee or falling behind on emails during the busy season, but we catch up eventually. The neighborhood is quiet enough, which helps us focus. We usually start early and the traffic in Noida can be a bit much. But we like the area. It feels like we are right where things are happening. We don't do much fancy advertising, mostly just word of mouth and letters to schools. It keeps us busy and the team is small, but we like it that way. Most days are long but good.
