The building is older, but it works for what we need. We handle the usual savings and loan stuff that a Nidhi company does. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations in the office. It’s just a place to sit and do the accounting. New Ganj is always moving, with people heading to and from the market. We see a lot of that from our window. Most of the people who come to see us are people we’ve known for years. They live nearby or have shops in the Ganj. We don't use any complicated banking software; we just keep things clear and simple. It’s mostly about trust in a place like this. We spend our mornings going through the deposits from the day before. It’s a lot of counting and checking. Sometimes we have a lot of people waiting, and other times it’s very quiet. We don't mind either way. We are just here to do the work and help out where we can. It’s a basic setup with some chairs for the members and a few desks for us. We just keep going, day after day, right here at 31/1/2. It’s our little spot in the city and we are quite happy with it.
