SKD HANDLOOMS PRIVATE LIMITED is located on Dankaur Road, right across from Agrasen College. Mukesh Kumar is usually the one you’ll see if you walk in. It’s a loud place because of the handlooms going all day, but it’s a sound we have all gotten used to over the years. We spend a lot of time working with threads and making sure the looms are set up right. Being near the college means there are always students walking by outside, which makes the area feel pretty lively even on slow days. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is mostly just the workspace and a small area where Mukesh handles the books. The dust from the yarn settles on everything, so we are always wiping down the desks. Some days the humidity makes the thread a bit tricky to work with, but we manage to get through it. People from around the neighborhood know us as the place near the college that makes the handloom goods. We’ve got a few old machines that need constant oiling, but they still work well enough for what we need. It’s mostly manual work, very hands-on, and there isn't much downtime once the day starts. We keep the doors open to catch a breeze when we can. It’s just us doing what we know how to do on Dankaur Road, trying to get the orders finished on time.
