Shyamgopal Flour Mills Private Limited

Shyamgopal Flour Mills is located in Acharya Nagar, right at 87/171 here in Kanpur. If you come by, you’ll probably see a bit of white powder on the ground because that’s just how it is with a flour mill. It’s a bit noisy when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout a little to hear each other. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. Kanpur is a big city but this little corner of Acharya Nagar feels like home to us. We don’t really have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us. It’s just us, the grain, and the bags we have to move around. My back hurts a bit after a long day but that’s part of the job. We start early when it’s still cool outside. The air smells like wheat and earth, which is actually kind of nice. We make sure the bags are tied tight so nothing spills. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow streets and we have to go out and help them navigate. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill in the country, just the one that works for the people around here. We have a small table where we keep the registers and a kettle for making chai. It's simple and it works for what we need. We just keep the wheels turning and stay busy.
