Shaan Jagruti Foundation

You can find the Shaan Jagruti Foundation in Ghaziabad, at house number 469 on the ground floor. We chose the ground floor because it’s easier for people to just walk in and talk to us. We’re in a regular residential area, so we are surrounded by families and local shops. It’s a good place to be if you want to stay connected to what’s actually happening in the world. We aren't a big, fancy foundation with a lot of money to spend on advertising. Most of what we do is just quiet, local work that helps our neighbors. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who share the work and keep things running. Our office is pretty basic—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of papers. We started this because we felt like there were things in Ghaziabad that could use a little extra attention, and we had the time and space to help out. We don’t have any grand plans to expand or become famous. We just want to do a decent job with the projects we have right now. Some days it’s hard to get everything done, but we just keep at it. It’s honest work, and being right there on the ground floor means we are never out of touch with the people we are trying to help. We are just local people trying to make a small difference.
