Satyam Fashion Institute

We’ve been at Sector 62 A-14/15 for a while now, and the building has seen a lot of student projects over the years. It’s a busy place. You’ll see students everywhere with their sketches, rolls of fabric, and measuring tapes hanging around their necks. The sewing machines make a constant humming noise throughout the day. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a practical space where people learn how to cut patterns and stitch clothes. Sometimes the corridors get crowded with mannequins wearing half-finished outfits. The teachers stay busy helping someone with a tricky hem or looking over a portfolio. People come here from all over to figure out the textile world. It’s mostly hands-on work. You might see someone struggling with a needle one minute and then showing off a finished dress the next. We try to keep things organized but with so many fabric scraps and threads lying around, it gets a bit messy by the afternoon. It’s just how a fashion place is. We aren't trying to be polished. It's about getting the work done and learning the craft. The lights are usually on pretty late when the students have their final deadlines coming up. It’s just us doing our thing here in the middle of the sector. The desks are a bit scratched from use, but they serve their purpose just fine for everyone here.
