Sakha Ekk Sahara Foundation

We are Sakha Ekk Sahara Foundation, and we are situated at 513/6 on the second floor. The address is a bit of a mouthful with the Kn. No- 466/98-49 and all that, but it is basically Gali No 10 in Vijay Park. Mauj Pur is a very busy part of town. The streets are narrow and there is always something going on. You hear the rickshaws and the vendors shouting outside all day long. Getting here can be a bit of a squeeze if you are driving, so most people just walk from the main crossing. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep and the lighting in the hallway isn't the best, but once you are inside it is fine. We have two small rooms and a little balcony overlooking the street. It is dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down the tables. We keep a big water cooler in the corner for anyone who stops by. It is a tight-knit community here. Everybody knows everyone else’s business. We have been in this spot for a while and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We just haven't gotten around to it yet. It’s a simple setup. We have a few computers and some old wooden chairs. It’s not a corporate office by any means. It’s just our little hub in the middle of a loud, lively neighborhood.
