You can find Raghavshri Livelihood Foundation over in Baragaon, specifically at the Badagawan location. We are care of Anupam Kumar Mishra. This is a very local setup. We are focused on livelihoods, which basically means helping people find ways to support themselves and their families. In a place like Baragaon, things aren't always easy and jobs can be hard to come by. We wanted to set something up right here in the middle of it. Anupam handles most of the day-to-day things. Our office is not fancy. It is just a place where people can come to get some advice or learn a new skill. We spend a lot of time talking to folks about what they are good at and how they can turn that into a way to make money. It is slow work sometimes. You can't change things overnight. We have a lot of tea and do a lot of listening. That is the main thing really. Understanding what the people in Badagawan actually need instead of guessing. We aren't some big NGO from the city. We live here and we know the struggles. It is practical work. Sometimes we get frustrated when things don't go fast, but we just keep showing up every morning. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or a big plaque. We just have a lot of work to do.
