Rado Store

We’ve been here at the Great India Place Mall for a while now. If you know Sector 38, you know how busy it gets, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping or catching a movie. Our spot is right at 121, just across from the Radisson Hotel. Sometimes I stand by the window and just watch the cars and people moving between the mall entrance and the hotel. It’s a nice view to have while working. The store itself is where we keep all the Rado pieces. It’s mostly quiet inside, which is a big change from the noise and music in the rest of the mall. We spend most of the day cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything looks right on the shelves. People come in mostly to look, or sometimes they need a link taken out of a watch band they’ve had for years. It’s not a huge place, but it feels big enough for what we do. The lighting is bright so people can actually see the details on the watches. We don’t really do much fancy talk here. We just show the watches, tell people how they work, and help them out if they’re looking for something specific. It gets a bit hectic around the holidays when the mall is packed, but usually, it’s just a steady stream of folks walking through. We’ve been here for years, and even though the mall changes, we stay pretty much the same.
