R V Sugar Industries is tucked away in Saraswatipuram, JNKP. We are situated on Plots 12, 13, and 14, right at KH No-43. Dr. Dhirendra Singh Rathore is the name on the gate basically. It’s a decent-sized setup since sugar takes up a lot of room. We have piles of cane coming in during the season and the whole place smells sweet and heavy. It’s hard work, especially when the machines are running 24/7. We have a crew that knows how to handle the boilers and the centrifuges. Things break down sometimes, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a pipe or a belt. That’s just part of the job. Saraswatipuram is a quiet enough area otherwise. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a sugar mill trying to keep up with the local demand. The office is small, mostly just a desk and some chairs for when people come to talk business. We spend most of our time out in the yard or near the processing units. It’s hot work, but we are used to it. We don't have a big mission statement hanging on the wall. We just want to get the sugar bagged and shipped before the rains start. It’s a simple cycle that we follow every year, and it keeps us all working together. The trucks arrive, the cane is processed, and the sugar goes out.
