R. S. Windlass & Sons

You can find R. S. Windlass & Sons over at C-21 in the Hosiery Complex, Phase-II. It's a busy corner of the industrial estate. We've been operating out of this facility for a good while now. It’s a family-run sort of vibe here, even though we have a fair number of staff on the floor. The walls are a bit scuffed and the floors have seen better days, but that’s because we actually use the space for work. We don't have a marketing department writing fancy slogans for us. We just focus on the orders that come in and making sure they go out on time. The phone rings a lot, and there’s usually a bit of back-and-forth about schedules and deliveries. It’s not always perfect. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed or a machine needs a part replaced, but we just figure it out as we go. We’ve got a lot of experience with the stuff we handle, so we don't feel the need to brag about it. We just do the job. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone sorting through stock or checking a ledger. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We value the people who work here because they know the routine and they don't need to be told what to do every five minutes. We just keep things simple and keep the business running here in Phase-II. It's not glamorous, but it works for us.
